Our Mission

Second Chance Paws is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving abandoned, neglected, and homeless dogs in the Smith County area a real second chance.

We believe every dog deserves safety, care, and a loving home. That’s why we work directly with Smith County Animal Shelter and rescue partners to pull dogs in need, provide medical care and rehabilitation, and coordinate transportation to fosters and forever homes.

Through our network of dedicated fosters, adopters, and volunteers, we turn fear and uncertainty into comfort and connection — one dog at a time.
