Become a Partner

We’re always looking to grow our network of shelters, transporters, and rescue partners who share our commitment to saving dogs in Smith County and surrounding areas.

If you’re a shelter, transport provider, or rescue interested in collaborating, we’d love to hear from you.

Reach Out About Partnership Opportunities

Why Partnerships Matter

Partnerships are the backbone of everything we do. By working directly with Smith County Animal Shelter and trusted transport partners, we can pull more dogs out of the shelter system, get them the medical care they need faster, and move them safely into foster homes and forever homes.

We believe no single organization can do this work alone. Strong partnerships mean more lives saved, less duplication of effort, and better outcomes for the dogs.

Our Current Partners

Shelter Partners

We work closely with the shelter to identify dogs in need and pull them into our program for medical care, rehabilitation, and placement into loving homes.

Smith County Animal Shelter

Our primary partner and main source for pulling and tagging dogs. We work closely with the shelter to identify dogs that will benefit from our program, then pull them for medical care, rehabilitation, and placement into foster and forever homes.

Transport Partners

Reliable transport companies and volunteer transporters help us move dogs safely from the shelter to fosters and adoptive homes across the region.

Take Me Home Transport Company

Our trusted transport partner that handles the heavy lifting. They safely move dogs from our care to rescue partners and adoptive homes in other states. Their reliable long-distance transport makes many of our out-of-state placements possible.

Rescue Partners

We team up with other rescues to share resources, coordinate transports, and find the best possible homes for dogs in our care.

Nicholas Pet Haven

A valued rescue partner we collaborate with to share resources, coordinate placements, and give dogs the best possible chance at a forever home.

Pawsitive Place Rescue

A key rescue partner working alongside us to help more dogs in the region. We coordinate on transports, fosters, and adoptions to increase the number of lives saved.

Veterinary Partners

Our veterinary partners provide the essential medical care, spay/neuter services, and wellness support that get dogs healthy and ready for their forever homes.

Dr. Lynn Foster, DVM

Provides essential veterinary care to help dogs in our program recover and prepare for their forever homes.

DeHart Veterinary Services

Low-cost spay/neuter and wellness partner delivering affordable, high-quality care that gets dogs healthy and ready for adoption.
